My VBox is not close to my router/modem - what are my options for set-up?

TV > VBOX

You can connect your VBox wirelessly, however, please note that for best VBox performance, we recommend that you connect your VBox to your internet through an Ethernet cable. If that is not possible, we suggest that you use HomePlugs to extend your network. You can also try a wireless connection to evaluate the stability of the signal.

HomePlugs are used to extend your home network and can be very helpful if your TV is located in another room than your router. HomePlugs come 2 in a box. You simply plug one into the power outlet near your modem and connect it to the modem via the ethernet cable. Plug the second HomePlug close to where you want your VBox and again connect the HomePlug to the device via an ethernet cable. Make sure you do not use any power bars, as it will not work properly.

You can purchase HomePlugs on our site; we offer the TP-LINK AV600 Nano Powerline Adapter and it is priced very competitively at $49.95, compared to other Electronics Retailers.
