Does a technician visit my home to activate the service?

For a new cable installation, a third-party technician (from Rogers, Cogeco, Videotron, Eastlink or Shaw) will visit your premises to set up your internet service. If you were a Rogers, Cogeco, Videotron, Eastlink or Shaw customer previously and now want to remain with cable internet, but with VMedia's better internet and TV packages, you could be eligible for a 'Transfer of Service' which is less costly and does not require a technician visit.
