Once I placed my order, how long will it take for my service to be active?

A new cable service can usually be activated in a minimum of 8 business days.

If you have a "cable transfer" scheduled, because you were previously with Rogers, Cogeco, Videotron, Shaw, or Eastlink, and are transferring your cable internet services to VMedia, we will need a notice of at least 20 days before you cancel with your current provider  in order to be able to give you a transfer date for your services.

The activation will happen on your transfer date, and no technician will be required.
