If your remote is not working properly, please identify which remote you have and follow the necessary steps.
Bluetooth Remote for VBox Quad (VBox with two antennas)
- First be sure that your VBox is on. A light should be on on the VBox to indicate that it is on.
- Make sure the the USB dongle provided with the remote is plugged in in you VBox.
- Check if the batteries are inserted in the remote, and that they are functional. If your remote has functional batteries, a light should turn on at the top of the remote when you press any button.
- If the light at the top blinks instead of lighting up only once when you press on any button, your remote is not synchronized. Press and hold the "1" button and "9" button on the remote at the same time. The LED on the remote control will turn on to indicate that it is now in pairing mode. The remote control will search the VBox and send the pairing request to the device. The LED on the remote control will blink three times slowly (blink one time each second) to indicate that pairing procedure is finished successfully.
Bluetooth Remote with Integrated Mic for VBox Quad+
- First be sure that your VBox is on. A blue light should be on on the VBox to indicate that it is on. If it is red, your VBox is in sleep mode, and if it off, your VBox has no power.
- Make sure the the USB dongle provided with the remote is plugged in in you VBox.
- Check if the batteries are inserted in the remote, and that they are functional. If your remote has functional batteries, a light should turn on at the top of the remote when you press any button.

Press and hold the volume buttons, the "-" button and "+" button on the remote, at the same time. The LED on the remote control will turn on to indicate that it is now in pairing mode. The remote control will search the VBox and send the pairing request to the device. The LED on the remote control will blink three times slowly (blink one time each second) to indicate that pairing procedure is finished successfully.
Infrared Smart Remote for the VBox Quad+ (with Android TV system)
- First be sure that your VBox is on. A blue light should be on on the VBox to indicate that it is on. If it is red, your VBox is in sleep mode, and if it off, your VBox has no power.
- Check if the batteries are inserted in the remote, and that they are functional. If your remote has functional batteries, a light should turn on at the top of the remote when you press any button.
- Make sure your remote is in STB mode. If it is, the STB button will be the one to light up. If it is not in STB mode, press on STB to switch modes.
- If your remote is still not functional, reset it. Press and hold the "1" button and "9" button on the remote at the same time. The STB button will light up once, and after 5 seconds, it will blink three times to indicate that the reset is now complete, and the remote has gone back to its default settings.
